“I started out in speech-language pathology, but I enjoyed the audiology classes much better. I fell in love with the medical/biology part of it! Working with older adults has opened up my eyes to the life changes they face. My profession is very much about counseling people and helping them make the right choices for themselves. We live and breathe hearing aids – all day, every day. I am always open and honest. People sense it. Many patients get to know us on a personal level. We get a lot of notes, hugs and flowers.”
